Ricardo Perez and the Villalobos brothers are master millers and coffee processors. They operate the Miramontes mill, an eco-friendly operation located in Zarcero. The mill is adjacent to Ricardo's house and perched on the rim of a lovely valley. Aside from a great vista, the location is perfect for drying coffee. As the valley below heats up, a steady thermal updraft brings warm, dry air across the Miramontes drying beds.

The families grow excellent coffees and have an eye for the best coffees from neighboring farms. Ricardo processes coffees for several families and only the best coffees from Zarcero are sold with the Helsar de Zarcero mark.

This year, the Miramontes lot is sweet, balanced and has notes of citrus and green apple in the aromatics. Medium roast.
