Each year as the days get shorter we take stock of our best coffees and consider which beans would fuse together into a sum greater than the individual parts. We roast each coffee several different ways and retreat to the tasting room in search of the most complete coffee, one that will echo the harmony of the season.

This year was a fun adventure. We had coffees from Indonesia and Africa in mind, then out of left field a Guatemalan joined the list.

It is a medley of medium and dark roasted coffees and will appeal to fans of both roast styles. It is sweet, spicy and ready for a nip of egg nog or great plain using your favorite brewing method.

It is available today through the end of 2010. On New Year's Eve it will become a memory of 2010.
